    How long has it been since your trees were inspected? Mitchell Tree Service was started in early spring of 1962 by two brothers, Lee Roy Mitchell and William E. Mitchell (Bill). Bill started his career as a climber for a well known tree care service in the power line clearing division in Monterey, Ca. He later transferred to San Mateo County as a foreman on the home owner's and private business service division. He later transferred back to Monterey County and worked for Bindel Bro's Tree Service for greater pay and tree care experience. He later returned to San Mateo County, working for Leo Dolezal of Dolezal Tree Surgery. Leo was a foreman at a company where he got most of his experience in tree surgery. In the early spring of 1962, Bill and Lee Mitchell bought out Hedgecock Tree Service of San Mateo County, working together into the late 1960s until Bill left to begin Mitchell Tree Service. Mitchell Tree Service is still owned and operated by Bill Mitchell. Bill acquired his Spray license and his California Contractor's License and has hired courteous, responsible, knowledgeable and hard working professionals of the trade. Our company is equipped with all of the proper tools and equipment of the tree care industry.
